The silence command lets you temporarily stop rhub forwarding messages to your phone, email or IM. Silences automatically expire after the time period you set, so there's no need to remember to unset them, and can be set for a period of minutes, hours or days.

To set a silence:
!silence [time period]
To turn off silencing before it expires:
!silence or !unsilence
Rhub tries to work out what you mean by the time period. Generally, it should be [quantity] [unit], for example 1 hour.
Rhub will understand if you use one of the following units or abbreviations:
To set a silence for four hours:
!silence 4 hrs
To set a silence for one day:
!silence 1 day
To set a silence for 30 minutes:
!silence 30mins
