Groups, Inviting to

Inviting someone to a group is simple. They must already have an account on rhub (you can invite them to join rhub if they haven't already) and you must have the required privileges for the group you wish to invite them to.

Groups can have different join policies. Visit the page for the group to see what the policy is. It will be one of:

• Open: Invitations are not required, any rhub member may join
• Invite by member: Invitation from a group member required
• Invite by owner: Invitation from the group owner required
• Closed: Group is not accepting any new members

So for example, if you a normal member of a group, you can only invite someone if the join policy for it is 'open' or 'invite by member'.
