The world is a dynamic place, and people aren't always on the web, looking at rhub.net (as much as we'd like them to be). So if you send a message with rhub, you want to be sure that your message "gets out there" if you so desire. Rhub's messaging forwarding features help you with this.
Messaging forwarding is free for you to use, so please do not abuse it. Use message forwarding when it's important for people to get the message pushed out to their phone, email, MSN(R) Messenger or Jabber/GTalk account. Don't annoy people!
Don't forget that everything you send through rhub will always be available to you and message recipients on the web.
Rhub supports the following forwarding methods:
Which methods rhub picks to send your message depends on a few factors:
1. If the recipient is actively browsing Rhub on the web, they'll get it via the little purple notifications box and it won't be forwarded. If the user is marked as on vacation mode, a message won't be forwarded either.
2. Which methods you've allowed rhub to use for your forwards
3. Which methods recipients have told rhub they will accept
4. The type of forward it is (to a group? a location? directly to a person?)
5. Each recipient's filtering settings is checked
6. If a given method is available at the time of forwarding (for example, resorting to an SMS if the recipient is not on Messenger)
It is important that your contacts have their MSN(R) Messenger account setup, and a mobile phone number for their rhub account so rhub can forward messages to them.
