Your group membership page provides an overview of groups you've joined and allows you to change settings associated with each group.
There are also shortcuts here to leaving a group or inviting someone to a group.
If you change any of the settings on this page, such as the message forwarding, be sure to click 'Save' at the bottom.
Sometimes you might want to be in a group, but not necessarily receive messages that get forwarded out from it. Instead of turning off all forwarding for your rhub account, you can switch off, or filter messages for individual groups. Different groups will have different messaging characteristics, so you'll have to chose what's best.
As an example, using the filter "!pub" will remove all messages that contain "pub". The default, "Nothing" will not filter out anything, i.e., you'll get all forwarded messages.
You can set a simple filter by using one of the presets, selecting from the drop-down list. If you want to be more hardcore, click the 'Edit' link that appears next to the filter. You'll now be presented with a box where you can type your own filter. If you want to go back to using a preset, click 'Preset'.
The syntax for the custom filter is pretty simple. Read more about it.
Privacy note: Other group members will see what filtering you are using for that group.
